Lawn Upton is a mixed 5-form entry middle school catering for children between the ages of 9 and 13 years. The Rev John Henry Newman (later Cardinal Newman) founded it in 1838 when he was Vicar of St Mary's in Oxford, with which parish Littlemore was at that time associated.
